About Our Tallahassee, FL Location
Our Tallahassee distribution center is the smallest of all our warehouses. We acquired this 26,000 sq. ft. warehouse in 2008 for a single customer (General Dynamics). Today, we employ 10 people at this location. With the greatest of care, the employees at our Tallahassee warehouse provide our clients with complete material management of sophisticated electronics with unique Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling requirements, from part receipt to kit delivery.
Location is obviously of great importance in the logistics industry and our Tallahassee warehouse is within five minutes from Interstate 10. I-10 is the main transportation route (and only interstate) through the Florida Panhandle. Starting in Jacksonville, Florida and crossing the entire continental U.S., I-10 passes through major southern cities of Mobile, AL, New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio, El Paso, Tucson, and Phoenix, before ending in Los Angeles, CA. This facility is the only warehouse that we have in Florida and does not have a trucking terminal. We have 6 locations in nearby Alabama.
